I’m Back … and headed to Iraq!

I can't believe my last post to this blog was in 2016. You missed an incredible trip to Sri Lanka as well as a birthday celebration in Courchevel, France and my last trip before the pandemic to Holbox in Mexico. 

I am headed to Iraq on a small group tour in a few weeks. I'm incredibly excited for this adventure, as the history both ancient and recent should prove to be fascinating. 

I am hopeful that there will be adequate WiFi to post on semi-regular basis. 

We will start in Baghdad and head south to the Marshes before reversing and ending up in the Kurdish north.

While I expect this to be a fun trip, I'm not sure it will be relaxing. And since there aren't direct flights to Baghdad from the US, I'll finish up with a few days in Dubai before heading home again.
