Maria, Captain, children, Rolfe is that you?

Ok not a huge Sound of Music fan but I am sitting in a little spot called the Swiss Village, I just ordered Swiss fried chicken and there are people eating fondue. The natural scenery is breathtaking but the alpine treehouse chalet thing is a little odd for South America (maybe in winter - this is also a huge ski area)

I spent the morning organizing my next few days. Rental car. Laundry. Boat and bus crossing to Chile. So after a quick wander around the town I headed out to rent a bike for the day and see the sites. I am on a ten mile circuit around a small lake and the Swiss Village is a little off-shoot.

(ok, the ten miles are lovely to see but the route is something like the Wellfleet hills during the PMC - not really a sightseeing ride!)
